GUIDELINES

Music In The Park is located in the WAN MarketPlace & Food Court at beautiful Veteran’s Park, six blocks West of the downtown area on M-57 during Danish Festival weekend.

WAN appreciates your participation. WAN will provide a tent and electricity for “Music In The Park”. Musicians are expected to provide their own speakers and other needed equipment. Daytime acts are expected to be approximately an hour and a 15 minutes in length, evening bands play at least an hour and a half, longer if it seems appropriate. There are 30 minutes between acts for tear down and set up. Sunday’s Christian Music is an exception-they are the only band, and play from 1p.m. to 3:30p.m

There is an entrance ramp for musical acts on Cass St. that is available for entry and exit. There is parking on the park for your vehicles. The first act on Saturday needs to arrive at the park before 10 am because the Danish Festival parade will prevent any traffic on Cass St. after it starts.

Upon completion of your performance, WAN will provide your group with $25 in appreciation of their participation.
