ABOUT US

OUR MISSION

Women’s Action Network is dedicated to supporting women in their quest to be full and equal participants in the economy and professional world. We accomplish this through networking, educational programs, scholarships, and service to the community.

BETTERING THE COMMUNITY

WAN was created to respond to the needs of women in the Greenville area. We are a local organization. All the money we raise and projects we support are local.

Interested in how WAN was formed?

WAN strives to better the community. We are a nonprofit organization that runs on donations, membership dues, community donations, Greenville Area Community Foundation grant funds, and membership fundraising efforts. WAN also accepts corporate and individual donations. Because WAN is a nonprofit charitable organization, all contributions to WAN are tax deductible.
We are active in the community by providing scholarships, providing The Hat Rack, organizing and running Danish Festivals Market Place and Food Court located in Veterans Park. We select a Women of the Year, host Senior Tea and also host events to spread awareness about human trafficking. Please browse through our website to learn more about what Women’s Action Network can do for you.
