The Audrey Malling Adult Scholarship
Are you looking to advance your personal and professional goals? The Women’s Action Network (WAN) proudly offers the Audrey Malling Adult Scholarship—a $500 award dedicated to supporting a local women aged 25 and older in their journey toward educational and career growth. Since 2006, this scholarship has honored Audrey Malling, a founding member of WAN, whose legacy of empowering women continues to inspire our mission.
Scholarship Use and Application Details
Scholarship funds can be applied toward:
- Continuing education courses
- College expenses
- Professional development, such as conferences and workshops
- Online classes or any educational activity supporting career advancement
To apply, please submit a one-page letter detailing how you intend to use the scholarship to further your goals. Include your name, address, phone number, and email in the letter, which should be emailed to the Women’s Action Network at wanmontcalm@gmail.com by March 20th.
Selection Criteria and Past Recipients
The selection committee seeks applicants who demonstrate commitment to their educational or career objectives. Previous recipients have used the funds to pursue college courses at Montcalm Community College and for professional development opportunities within their workplaces.
Application Timeline and Further Information
The scholarship is awarded in early spring each year. Announcements regarding applications are posted in February and March via local newspapers, our website, and on Facebook.

Graduating Senior Scholarship
Each year, Women’s Action Network awards scholarships to senior girls graduating from a high school residing in Montcalm county. The Scholarship may be used for tuition/room board only and the recipient must have been accepted by a college. Each year the amount varies and one or more recipients are selected.
